This Year's Theme

This year's slogan is... ALL TOGETHER NOW!

What a perfect slogan to bring us all together no matter the age, socio-economic status, political affiliation or location! We can all find a book to fit our interests and maybe make some friends in the process. Centered around Kindness, Friendship, and Unity,  this year's theme comes with endless opportunities to share your library with the community. 

The Adult Summer Reading program is for adults ages 18 and up.  At the time of registration, you will receive a small gift.  You will earn prizes after reading 10 hours, 30 hours and 60 hours.  The prizes do vary.   

How to register? 

Register at the reference desk or on Beanstack throughout the summer reading program.  

Please note: ECPL books, magazines, e-books, and audio books also count towards your total!

Summer Reading Kickoff Party!

Saturday June 10, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 at the Main Library Branch. 
Before the festivities begin, come and enjoy the Summer Movie Matinee at 11:00 am.  Then enjoy an array of carnival games and food.  Sign up for the Summer Reading program and receive a small gift. 

End of Summer Reading Pizza & Ice Cream Party

July 29, 2023 at Main Library beginning at 1:00 pm 

Come out and enjoy pizza and ice cream at the end of Summer Reading Party!
It is all about celebrating YOU for reading throughout the summer!

Adult Programming during the Summer Reading Program

Chair Yoga - Yoga Improves balance and coordination while bringing peace to both mind and body.  A certified yoga instructor will guide you through safe and fun exercises that you can do in your chair. The program is free and all are welcome to attend.  You do not need to bring a yoga mat for this program.

Senior Exercise Class - Seniors are invited to come exercise.  Exercises are done in a chair and are low impact.
