GED Resource Guide : ECPL and NEO Education offer GED/TASC classes at the Pastrick Branch

Provides centers, library materials and more so that anyone seeking their GED can find information. There is also information on test prep for anyone who may be taking the exam to obtain their GED.

Partnership with Neo Education and East Chicago Public Library

East Chicago Public Library and NEO (Neighbor's Educational Opportunities) begin to offer both GED and ESL classes!

The East Chicago Public Library has decided to partner with NEO (Neighbor’s Educational Opportunities in Portage, IN) to provide both GED and ESL classes to the East Chicago Community.  The classes are being offered at the Pastrick Branch located at 1008 W. Chicago Ave. in East Chicago.  If you are interested in possibly getting information or even signing up, please contact the Reference Desk at Pastrick Branch. Staff will obtain contact information and NEO Education staff will be in contact to provide you information regarding registration and when you can start attending the classes. 

Please note there is not cost to attend these classes being offered. They are Free!
