Welcome to the APA Writing Guide for the East Chicago Public Library.

This guide is intended to help you cite sources in APA style, avoid plagiarism, and to learn what APA style is and includes, and find examples  of APA style. It will also provide some resources available online and within the East Chicago Public Library.

Please note that the information provided on these pages is intended to be a guideline, not expert advice.

This guide is a quick introduction to the American Psychological Association (APA) Style for references and citations. Be sure to consult the Publication Manual of the APA or the APA Style website for detailed standards and procedures.

The manual is available at the Library for Library use only. Below is the information to look at the book through our catalog.
